The cherished computer studio

A modern computer studio has been rendered accessible in the Sygneczów Primary School.The official opening was performed by the vice-mayor of Wieliczka - Henryk Gawor and the director of the Department of Education - Maciej Wojnarowski.

The school in Sygneczów received the studio as a part of the last edition of the Ministry of Education programme entitled "The computer studios for schools", co-financed by the European Social Fund.The long-awaited hardware has been delivered to the school in May.It has been connected and configured straight away.

10 dual core computers,management server,nineteen inch panoramic LCD screens at each of the posts, complete equipment and software as well as a laptop and multimedia projector make a huge impression on all who view the new computer studio.

The equipment which had been in use until now has been moved to normal classrooms and the projection room - within the reach of the wireless internet access zone.

It has met with great enthusiasm on behalf of both the teachers and the students, who can now use computers and access the internet any time they need to.

The director of the Sygneczów Primary School Piotr Stryszowski stresses that it is one of the most modern school computer studios around.
