The well-known and well-liked TV programme "What melody is that?", which has been broadcasted for eleven years already, is partly to change its formula after the holidays. Once a month an episode entitled "What melody is that - the towns tournament" is going to be broadcasted, where representatives of three chosen cities shall meet in direct rivalization.

The first episode of the new edition of the TV quiz-show, to be broadcasted in September, shall see the representatives of Wieliczka along with the representatives of Malbork and Biskupin. Yesterday a casting took place in the Wieliczka Magistrate building, during which a representative of our Municipality has been chosen - Robert Szybowski from Sułków.

Robert is a student of a technical high school in Wieliczka and since long has been interested in pop music.

The casting's hosts - Anna Stachowska and Aleksandra Budziak from The Polish Television asked each of the candidates to present themselves and their town in an interesting way.

Then the TV quiz series' editors tested the candidates' musical knowledge as well as reflexes - the participants' task was to match the titles of the songs to the performers' surnames as well as a quick recognition of 14 music pieces.

The broadcast of the "What melody is that?" featuring Robert Szybowski shall take place in the first half of September. On this occassion a film about Wieliczka and her representative shall be made. Robert can also count on a strong support of those,who shall accompany him during the recording of the program in Warsaw.
