Modernization works at the building of the Independent Public Outpatient Health Service Team in Wieliczka are under way. Thermomodernization has been performed already and until the end of the year architectural barriers are to be liquidated.

The total investment sum is equal to 596 025 PLN.

Liquidation of the architectural barriers involves construction of an internal lift, preparation of a driveway for the disabled and replacement of the entrance doors.

The end of the works, the cost of which amounts to 301 025 PLN, is anticipated for December 2008.

The works performed as a part of the thermomodernizing works include thermal insulation of the walls of the building, the basements as well as the ceilings, the windows and the exterior doors in the new part of the building.

The source of heat has been replaced and the central heating instalation has been modernized. Also a novelty has been introduced - instalation of the solar collectors with the total surface of 15m2,which shall help obtain hot water.

The works shall be finished by the beginning of September.
