The Wieliczka municipality allotted a sum of over 220 thousand PLN to renovation of the health centre in Chorągwica.

Instalations have been exchanged already; presently finishing works are underway in accomodations of the overall utility space 170 m2.

The renovation of the Chorągwica Health Centre does not collide with normal functioning of the health centre,the pharmacy and the library.

At the same time modernization of the Independent Public Outpatient Health Service in Wieliczka and Węgrzce Wielkie Health Centre are underway.

The main contractor of the renovation in Chorągwica is the Kulmbud firm from Słomiana near Wieliczka. As the contractor ensures, the works are being performed in a very dynamic way and soon the centre shall get a new look.The places where the works are being performed have been covered with foil and marked according to the safety standards.

The next centre subject to renovation is the Independent Public Outpatient Health Service in Wieliczka.So far thermomodernization has been performed along with exchange of the entrance doors; finishing of the elevator construction as well as a driveway for the disabled is being planned until the end of the year.

As a part of the thermomodernization works, the walls of the building,basements and stropods have been insulated, the windows in the new part of the building – exchanged, as were the exterior doors.

Exchange of the heat source has been performed along with the modernization of the central heating. A novelty has been introduced as well - instalation of the sun collectors of the total area 15 m2, which shall help obtain warm water.

The end of the works,the cost of which amounts to 596,025 PLN, is anticipated for the December 2008.

The builidng of the Independent Public Outpatient Health Service in Wieliczka shall be energy-saving and disabled-friendly.

In case of the Węgrzce Wielkie Health Centre - underway are the works related to adaptation of the accomodation of the already existent multifunctional building into an outpatient clinic.The new arrangement of the accomodations along with exchange of the water canalisation, electric and central heating instalations shall be performed on the 170m2 of utility space.

The Wieliczka Municipality has allotted a sum of over 177 thousand PLN for this purpose.
