The building at Jasna Street in Wieliczka is at the final phase of construction. It is the first mulitifamily municipal building built by the Wieliczka Municipality. It comprises of 15 one- and two-room flats with a kitchen and a bathroom with the total floor space of 593,67 m2.

Altogether four municipal buildings are to be built at Jasna Street.

As far as the investment plans of the Municipality are concerned, the municipal housing has become one of the key, successively realized tasks.Each year the Municipality plans to allot a sum of approximately 2 mln PLN for the construction of municipal flats. The buildings are two-storeys high and there are 15 do 18 flats with varying living area.

 Presently the final finishing works are taking place along with the tidying up of the area around the first municipal building.The so-called post-executive stocktaking is being prepared as well;it is going to allow commencement of the commissioning of the building.

In November a committee shall begin its work;their task shall be:commissioning of the building and finding the possible defects which the executor shall have to eliminate.

After the faultless commissioning the building shall be officially passed over to the Buildings and Premises Board. The activities of the committee shall take approximately three weeks. After conclusion of the procedure the Investment Department shall apply to the District Construction Supervision Inspector for the positive decision concerning utilization of the building.

In April this year an agreement has been concluded concerning construction of the second muncipal building, also comprising of 15 flats.

The planned deadline for the conclusion of the works including putting into service is the autumn 2009.
