28th October 2008, a lovely 100th anniversary was being celebrated by a resident of Kokotów – Julia Ostrowska.

On this very special day a solemn church service was celebrated for the distinguished jubilarian in the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary parish church in Strumiany.Further celebrations of this extraordinary anniversary took place at the family home of Julia, where vice-mayor of Wieliczka, Henryk Gawor, conveyed highest regards and cordial congratulations on behalf of the Mayor of Wieliczka.

In our lives we do need and thus search for the guides.

Experience and life wisdom gained by the distinguished jubilarian during these hundred years may become a treasury of knowledge of the art of life for the children, grandchildren as well as the friends and relations - says Mayor of Wieliczka, Artur Kozioł in the congratulations letter.

Doubtless, one hundred years of life allows to view the surrounding reality with greater understanding and teaches to make the right choices in the everyday struggles.On the day of the beautiful anniversary Ms Ostrowska heard lots of wishes of joy, good health and all the best in life.There also was a birthday cake and the birtday song sung by the gathered wishing the jubilarian 200 years of life.

Ms Julia Ostrowska is the fifth one hundred years old in the Wieliczka Muncipality. Once again, we congratulated the wonderful anniversary and wished long life in the company of the nearest and dearest ones.
