On Friday, 15th August the renovated headquarters of the Village Cultural Centre in Grabie have been opened. Opening of the Village Cultural Centre took place as a prt of the annual Grabie Days and almost whole community gathered on this occassion.

The official opening of the institution was performed by the village administrator of the village of Grabie on behalf of the Soletstvo Board.

Since long the residents of Grabie have been making efforts towards renovation of the Cultural Centre, worn-out with time.

Thanks to the efforts of the Soletstvo Council, financial means for the construction and finishing materials have been provided by the Municipality.

The renovation works were performed by the residents themselves.

They've changed the instalations and the floors and renovated the walls and the toilets.

The kitchen also got a new look and got equipped with utensils and furniture.

The renovated cultural centre, like other soletstvo buildings in the Wieliczka municipality, is to become a place of meetings of the local community

The guests, numerously gathered during the ceremony, sightsaw the renovated headquarters and took advantage of the attractions prepared by the Soletstvo Board.

There were games for the youngest ones and a performances by the Folk Band group and the "Pirania" cabaret featuring Joanna Litwin, Stefan Lipiec and Grzegorz Rekliński for the older ones. At the end of the celebrations there was a fireworks show.
