On invitation of Fidelis Żelechowski - chairman of the Festival Baroque d'Auvergne and a member of the board of Polish Artists Musicians' Society in France - the Camerata choir from Wieliczka sets off on a tournee to the country on the Seine.
The Camerata shall perform concerts in four French cities: Armentieres (22nd August), Luneville (23rd August), Paris (St.Madeleine Church 24th August) and Merlebach (25th August). The Armentieres concert shall be the 300th concert in the history of the choir from Wieliczka.
Fidelis Żelechowski has organised over 500 classical music concerts with the participation of Polish artists.
On his invitation the mixed choir from Wieliczka, directed by Izabela Szota, sets off on a tournee to France on 20th August.
The programme includes works by J. S. Bach, G. F. Haendel, A.Vivaldi, A. Cherion, S. Moniuszko, H. Wieniawski and the Polish patriotic songs.
A young violinist, Aleksandra Szota, a student of prof.Mieczysław Szlezer shall perform with the choir, accompanied by prof. Bogumiła Gizbert-Studnicka.
