Today the 18th Economical Forum entitled "The European dilemmas.Central Europe - a partner or an extra?" commenced.It shall continue until Saturday, the 13th September. The Town and Municipality of Wieliczka shall present itself on the Forum for the first time.
Mayor Artur Kozioł along with the investment matters plenipotentiary, Józef Lassota, shall participate in the Economic Forum as well as in the 2nd Regions Forum in Muszyna.
The Krynica Economic Forum is the most significant politics&economy event in the Central-Eastern Europe.
At the time of the occurrence of the event Krynica is visited by the guests from over 60 countries including presidents, prime ministers, parliamentarians, directors of central banks,stock exchanges,government agendas, businessmen, experts, representatives of the economical and non-governmental organisations.
The programme of the Forum anticipates some 150 debates divided into thematical blocks concerning the issues of macroeconomics, business and management, the fuel and power industry market,new economy, international politics and safety as well as regional politics and globalisation.
The 2nd Regions Forum in Muszyna is an integral part of the Krynica Economic Forum.
It is a place where the representatives of self-goverments from Poland and the neighbouring countries meet and discuss the problems nagging the regions.The mayor of Wieliczka, Artur Kozioł, shall participate in a discussion entitled:"Region as the organiser of the public transport".
Presence of Wieliczka on the Economic Forum gives a chance for excellent promotion of the town along with providing an occassion for meetings and discussions concerning investments - especially in the area of the Wieliczka Economic Activity Zone.
