The Mayor of the Wieliczka Municipality, Artur Kozioł, informs that inkeeping with the great interest on the part of the residents the municipality launches preparations for the programme related to gaining the financial means in order to subsidize the costs of purchase and installation of the sun collectors used to heat the useable water in the individual residential buildings.
It is anticipated that the individual contribution of the owner of the residential building, related to the purchase and installation of the sun collectors shall amount to 25% of the overall costs – which means 3,0 – 4,0 thousand PLN.
The Sun is an inexhaustible, free and additionally a very effective source of energy.
In the summer time practically the entire energy requirement for a family needed to heat the useable water can be covered by a solar system.In winter the savings prove to be not as serious, however after a longer time the profits are clear nevertheless.
On the whole year scale the savings related to usage of petrol for the heating of the warm useable water amount to 60%.An important aspect here is also the protection of the environment.
By using the solar energy we participate in reduction of emission of the greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.
The Mayor of Wieliczka addresses with a kind request the residents of the Wieliczka municipality interested in installation of the sun collectors at their houses.They are asked to fill in the declaration form along with a questionnaire and to post or submit it to the Town and Municipality of Wieliczka Office at 1 Powstania Warszawskiego Street in Wieliczka between 1-10 December 2008.
The declaration along with the questionnaire can be received in the secretariat of the Town and Municipality Office in Wieliczka as well as in the Protection of the Environment and the Development of the Villages Departament at 32 Limanowskiego Street or downloaded from the Office's website www.wieliczka.eu
